Collector discusses traffic, several other issues with officials

Collector Sourabh Kumar discussed measures to streamline traffic in the city, widening of road squares and intersections with the officials at Road Safety Committee meeting held here today. The meeting was also attended by SSP Ajay Yadav, Municipal Commissioner Prabhat Malik and district administration officials.
According to the Collector the problem of parking and blind spots is being seen in the city. Many roads in the city are connecting with the National Highway. He discussed measures for improving traffic, lights and dividers in roads which are prone to road accident.
According to the assessment by the Raipur Police 9 blind spots have been identified in different areas of the city. Such problems will be resolved soon by the district administration. Apart from this, many squares and intersections of the city will soon be widened.
Collector said that discussions were held on the issues of Telibandha Chowk, Lodhipara Chowk, Motibagh Chowk, Telghani Naka Chowk, Multilevel Parking, Bhantagaon New Bus Stand.
