Chh’garh players excel in Indian Open Para Athletics event

Chhattisgarh Athletics excelled in the 5th Indian Open Para Athletics International Tournament held recently at Bangaluru.
Providing the above information in a statement issued here, the Para Sports Association of Chhattisgarh (PSAC) Vice President Prashant Singh Raghuvanshi said that representing Chhattisgarh Chhoti Mehra won gold medal in the Discus Throw in F-40 category and also won bronze medal in the Shot Put Throw event. Similarly, Ishwari Nishad won bronze medal in the T-11 category 400 Metres Running and also won silver medal in the 200 Metres running even. Coach Niranjan Sahu, Wasim Raja, Guide Runner Sanjay Paikra provided special assistance to the players during the championship. Secretary Dikesh Tandon and RC Mishra, Suraj Yadav also played significant role in the achievement.
