CG govt should ensure MSP hike reaches farmers: Sao

Hailing the decision of Union Government to hike the Minimum Support Price (MSP) of Agricultural crops including paddy, the Chhattisgarh Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) President Arun Sao on Wednesday said that the Chhattisgarh Government should ensure the benefits of hike in MSP reaches to people without any delay.

In a statement issued here, the BJP chief Sao said that farmers from Chhattisgarh would be significantly benefitted with the hike in MSP on paddy whereas the other Agricultural produce price hike would also be benefitted to people. He further added that the farmers would be economically more benefitted with the hike in Kissan Samman Nidhi as announced by Centre.

BJP Vice President and former Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh too has hailed the Rs 143 per quintal hike in MSP on paddy and added that the farmers from Chhattisgarh would get major economic growth from the decision of Central government.
