Directionless Budget would take Ch’garh behind: Kaushik

Raipur, Mar 03: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Wednesday termed the Annual Budget for fiscal 2021-22 to be directionless which would take back Chhattisgarh behind as it has failed to address developmental issues.
Leader of Opposition in Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly Dharmlal Kaushik made the above statement while participating in general discussion on proposed budget for the upcoming fiscal in Assembly here. Kaushik said that Congress is not following the ideology of Mahatma Gandhi and questioned the heavy borrowing made by Chhattisgarh Government during the first two years in office. He also grilled the Government over the slogan of HEIGHT given to the Budget stating that it would make the pocket of common men tight. He further claimed that development of Chhattisgarh would not be possible under the Congress government. He also had a dig on Congress government over reported failure to check crime during the last two years. He further stated that Centre is ready to extend all possible assistance to providing House to people but Chhattisgarh government is not ready to take up the share of responsibility it has to take to ensure every people get their own House.
