Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) would demand for Central Bureau of India (CBI) probe into alleged irregularities in Central Fund by the Congress government.

Addressing a joint press conference here, the BJP Spokesperson and MLA Ajay Chandrakar and Shivratan Sharma on Wednesday afternoon said that they would also raise demand before the visiting Union Home Minister to sack the Congress government over irregularities in Central Fund provided to Chhattisgarh government.

Chandrakar further said that if voted to power after upcoming Legislative Assembly polls, the BJP government would conduct investigation into the various scam of Congress government and added that entire Cabinet would be in Jail after the probe. He made the above statement in reply to the allegation of Congress that 34 scams were reported during the Raman Singh government. He said that instead of leveling allegations, the state government would have conducted investigation. He added that even the Chhattisgarh Pradesh Congress Committee (CPCC) President and Kondagaon MLA Mohan Markam too had alleged irregularities in DMF Fund in his home district but no investigation was conducted against the Executive Engineer who is close relative of a Congress leader. He further asked the state government to probe into reported Liquor scam, PSC scam as well as Jal Jivan Mission scam and added that BJP would register complaint on the above issues to Union Home Minister Amit Shah to seek investigation.
