BJP meets Governor to register complaint against Govt

Raipur, Mar 10: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Members of Legislative Assembly (MLAs) under the leadership of Leader of Opposition Dharmlal Kaushik on Tuesday submitted a memorandum to Governor to register complaint against Government.
According to the information received, the BJP delegation submitted two separate memorandums to Governor on the issue of reported misuse of the amount of Rs 364 crore through the Cess being imposed by state government on sale of liquor. Memorandum stated that Health Department was not provided any amount from the Cess collected for the said purpose to deal with the corona virus in Chhattisgarh. In a separate memorandum submitted, the BJP MLAs raised demand over the death of five-members of a family from Scheduled Caste in village Bathena under Patan Development Block of Durg District. Prominent among those present on the occasion include Dharmlal Kaushik, Krisnamurty Bandhi, Brijmohan Agrawal, Ajay Chandrakar, Narayan Chandel, Vidyaratan Bhasin, Punnulal Mohile, Shivratan Sharma and other MLAs.
