BJP has put additional burden on common men: Upadyay

Raipur, Feb 21: MLA Vikas Upadhyay registered protest along with his supporters near a petrol pump in novel manner and he was welcoming people by offering ‘puja’ to the vehicle owners going full tank from the petrol pump. On this occasion MLA Vikas gheraoed Modi government over the massive hike in fuel prices, increasing inflation and farmers’ protest. He charged that PM Narendra Modi even speaks lie being in power and are misguiding the people of the nation. MLA said that the amount of hike during last 7 years of BJP rule at the Centre in fuel and LPG cylinders is perhaps the highest since Independence.
Addressing a press conference at his residence MLA Raipur (West) Vikas Upadhyay came down heavily against the PM raising questions over his words and action. He said that PM Modi and BJP came to power at the Centre with allegations of massive corruption and inflation during UPA’s regime and today it the same BJP which has put entire nation with heavy burden of price rise and inflation.
Vikas Upadhyay further said that the farmers of the states are protesting against the three new farm bills for last 85 days. The very new agriculture laws formulated for the farmers are themselves charging that on its implementation the corporate will dominate and it will pose huge loss to farmers. Set aside this those who are understanding the law in true sense are also being sidelined by the BJP government and they are spending heavily to suppress the same and prove them wrong and it has caused loss to the tune of Rs 2400 cr in terms of transportation of goods through railways and toll plaza earnings.
