Baghel appeals eligible citizens to come forward for vaccination
Iin order to prevent spread of COVID infection in the state * Social and business organizations have been requested to cooperate in the vaccination campaign
Raipur, Apr 01: In view of the increasing prevalence of Corona virus (COVID-19) in Chhattisgarh, Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel has appealed to all the eligible citizens in the state to get COVID-19 vaccination. Mr. Baghel has said that even after getting vaccinated, the guidelines issued by the government should be strictly followed and the precautions should still be taken. This will prove to be very helpful in the prevention of COVID infection in the state.
Baghel said that adequate quantity of vaccine doses are available in the state. Proper facilities for immunization of people are available in all the districts of the state.
Chief Minister Baghel has appealed the leaders, heads and chairpersons of all the communities, social service organizations, religious institutions, business institutions and the enlightened people of the society to motivate common people for COVID-19 vaccinations.
It is noteworthy that from today onwards, citizens above 45 years of age are also being vaccinated. Large number of people have also taken the second dose of the vaccine. Besides, people of age above 60 years and those of age group 45 years to 59 years with comorbidity are being vaccinated from March 1.
