Assembly Elections: Over 50% MLAs defected to BJP last 5 years in Goa
In Goa, amid poll campaigning oppostion parties including Congress and Aam Aadmi Party are facing challenges to prevent splits in the party after Assembly Elections. During five year term of present Assembly from 2017 to 2022 twenty-four MLAs of 40 seats of Goa assembly defected to the ruling party, BJP.
