Another 8 found positive in Sainik School

Ambikapur, Feb 19: A total of 8 teachers from Sainik School, Ambikapur have been found to be Corona positive and with this figure the total number of active cases in Surguja has crossed 80 in a week’s time and seeing this the administration is on the alert.
CHMO PP Sisodia informed that Rapid Antigen test of 90 persons from the School was done and out of which 8 were found to be positive. On Friday the test of remaining staff of the School was also done.
Collector Sanjeev Jha informed that one of the teacher’s of the School was found with symptoms of Corona virus and based upon which test of all other teaching staff of the School was done and 8 were found to be corona positive. One of the teacher’s has been admitted in the Hospital and rest all are on home isolation. Entire Sainik School campus is now being sanitized.It is notable here that prior to opening of School, total 20 persons, including two student and 18 teachers were found to be corona positive in a private School in Rajnandgaon in just two days and instructions have been issued to closed down the school for a week’s time.
