BJP candidates asked to associate public with development-oriented policy

Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidates for the upcoming Legislative Assembly polls were on Tuesday asked to associate public with the development-oriented ideology of Narendra Modi government at the Centre during the election campaign.

BJP in-charge for the Chhattisgarh Polls OP Mathur made the above statement to the 21 candidates who have been declared for the Legislative Assembly polls. He asked them to chalk out programme to reach every people of their respective Assembly segment. He furthered stated the responsibility given to them should be lived up to the expectations by ensuring victory. He also asked them to expose the ruling Congress government on key front including corruption and betrayal to the promises it had made to the people.

Speaking on the occasion, the State BJP President Arun Sao said that the party has given them the opportunity by fielding them as nominee and now they have to show their value by ensuring victory. He further added that the party always respect the candidates and several fresh faces for the upcoming polls, is an example of the respect to the party rank and file.

Former Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh said that the declaration of the candidates well in advance from the election date, should bring about positive change in the approach and asked them to live up to the expectation of party leaders. He asked the candidates to reach every booth and every family to ensure victory of the party in the polls.

Several senior leaders of the party were also present on the occasion.

 

Guru Baldas joins BJP with his supporters

Raipur: In a significant development, a large number of social influencers under the leadership of Religious Guru Baldas, Guru Khuswantdas and others joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in presence of senior leaders including the Chhattisgarh BJP Election in-charge OP Mathur at party headquarters here.

Speaking on the occasion, the Religious Guru Baldas said that the ruling Congress has ignored the sentiments of the community which forced them to join the BJP.

It is notable that he had extended support to the Congress in the 2018 Legislative Assembly polls which paved way for majority for Congress. However, the switch would once again create impact in the upcoming polls.
