High School and Colleges to re-open from Feb 15

Raipur, Feb 13: Chhattisgarh Government on Saturday gave approval to the proposal seeking re-opening of high and higher secondary schools as well as colleges and universities from February 15 onwards.
A decision in this regard was taken at the meeting held under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel at his residence office here on Saturday.
Briefing media persons with the decision taken, the Cabinet Minister Ravindra Choubey said that Cabinet has decided to start offline classes for students of 9th to 12th Standard in all the schools of the state as well as the offline classes in universities and colleges would be started from Monday, 15 February onwards. Likewise, Cabinet has also decided to re-start all the skill development training programs in the state.
He further stated that all the guidelines issued by the Central and the State Government from time to time will be followed to prevent COVID infection in the classrooms. It would be after a gap of 11 months that the educational institutes would re-open in Chhattisgarh.
