Vice President, M Venkaiah Naidu addressed the members of the Indian diaspora during a Community Reception at Doha in Qatar yesterday. Mr Naidu reached Qatar on the 4th of this month on the final leg of his three-nation tour after concluding his visit to Gabon and Senegal. The Speaker of Qatar Shura Council, Hassan bin Abdulla Al Ghanim, called on the Vice President yesterday. During the interaction, Mr Naidu called for deepening engagement between Indian and Qatari legislatures and promoting Parliamentary exchanges between the two countries. Vice President Naidu also addressed the members of business community at India-Qatar Business Forum.
During the meeting, Mr Naidu launched “India-Qatar Start Up bridge” that aims to link the start-up ecosystems of the two countries. He highlighted the strength of India-Qatar ties and called for building an enabling environment and forging more collaborations for mutual benefit. Mr Naidu also interacted with the members of Indian business community. He also visited the Qatar National Museum in Doha.
