Telangana: Governor inaugurates two-day cultural festival ‘Rashtriya Sanskriti Mahotsav’ at Warangal
Telangana Governor Dr. Tamilisai Soundararajan has inaugurated the two-day cultural festival ‘Rashtriya Sanskriti Mahotsav’ at Warangal last evening. Speaking on the occasion, the Governor said conserving our culture and heritage promotes unity among people. Stating that conducting festivals like Rashtriya Sanskriti Mahotsav help artists and artisans to demonstrate their craftsmanship. This festival provided a platform for traditional performing artists and craftsmen to come under one roof to showcase their talent.
The Governor said the festival gave us an opportunity to recall the sacrifices of our freedom fighters and rededicate ourselves for nation’s building.
She inaugurated an exhibition on Prominent Telugu freedom fighters organized by the Regional Outreach Bureau of the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting on the occasion.
