Maoists attack vehicle on NH with arrow bomb

Konta, Mar 02: Naxals have attacked a vehicle with an arrow bomb near Nagalgunda near Dornapal on the National Highway. The truck helper was injured in this incident. The injured youth was admitted to Dornapal Hospital for treatment.
According to the information received, Maoists have attacked a cargo vehicle with an arrow bomb while it passing through the forest adjoining Dornapal town. The incident is reported to be of around 9 o’clock on Monday night. The Maoists have executed the incident near Nagalguda between Dornapal and Penta. Telangana Rajya’s truck number TS 28 T. 6219 was suddenly attacked by Naxalites with an arrow bomb. Arrows recovered from the spot
Truck helper Sambha Shiva age 22 has suffered a head injury. The injured were taken to Dornapal Hospital. The CRPF and police personnel reached the spot as soon as the news of this incident was received. For some time, the movement of vehicles on the National Highway was stopped. Vehicles were allowed to go after searching the area.
Additional Superintendent of Police Sunil Sharma denied the Maoist incident and said that prima facie indicates anti-social elements seem to be active. An attempt has been made by some mischievous elements to smash the glass on the vehicle.
