Puducherry: Last COVID-19 patient cured, UT recorded nil infection

With the last of the COVID-19 patient, who was in home isolation, cured from infection today, Puducherry has recorded nil infection.

Thanks to the efforts of the Health Department and various stakeholders the infection rate saw a decline since February this year.

Since the beginning of the month, there has been zero new infection for many days in all the four regions of Puducherry. Those who were diagnosed with infections were advised to isolate themselves at home. Effective vaccination drive is also attributed to this achievement. Till now, Puducherry has vaccinated 16 lakh 39 thousand and 293 doses combined together.
