With the new normal leading to newer market challenges, women entrepreneurs across various industries ranging from retail-tech, agri-tech, alco-bev, e-commerce, and communications stepped up to design new businesses, products with an aim to impact the ecosystem and make lives for consumers easier. Upasna Dash, Founder & CEO, Jajabor Brand Consultancy


Dash is the Founder and CEO, Jajabor Brand Consultancy and she is also the Co-Founder of Indiarath, India’s largest borderless incubator programme. She has worked with over 500+ startups and VCs and continues to work with unicorns, leading VCs, emerging start-ups, global initiatives, and policy think tanks. Her expertise lies in unleashing the power of branding and communication to move the business to the next level. During the pandemic she has successfully implemented communication strategies for companies for raising funds, building brand image, and most recently navigating the COVID crisis and continuing to impact the business in a positive way beyond what is happening.

Vidhi Puri, Founder, The Cocktail Story


The Cocktail Story founded by Vidhi Puri in 2018, is India’s first digital platform that builds an ecosystem of the hospitality industry, alco-bev brands, and spirits enthusiasts. The alco-bev industry has majorly been taken up or dominated by men, Puri took on the industry to not only make her mark but also led to making a change with the introduction of a digital platform, that also captures the bar scenario across India promoting the beverage culture. Owing to the current scenario due to COVID-19, many bartenders had to leave their jobs, The Cocktail Story has been a platform that provides networking opportunities.

Arjita Sethi, Co-Founder, Indiarath

Arjita Sethi is the founder and CEO of Equally, a universal platform to ignite the curiosity of kids. This became one of the semi-finalists in the Global Learning XPrize and has reached kids in almost 10 countries. She is currently serving on the Advisory Board of Nasdaq Entrepreneurial Center, San Francisco. She is a lecturer at the San Francisco State University where she teaches entrepreneurship, creativity and innovation and, business ethics.She was also one of the co-founders of Start-up India Advisory. She started her entrepreneurship journey at 16. Her first start-up was a vocational school in India, where trained over 10,000 people in communication skills and interview skills.
