Indian economy reflecting sustained growth momentum despite global economic adversities: Govt
The Indian economy is reflecting sustained growth momentum despite global economic adversities. Commerce and Industries Minister Piyush Goyal informed this in the Lok Sabha in a written reply today. The Minister said, the High Frequency Indicators (HFIs) in the first quarter of current fiscal, 2022-23, are reflecting growth momentum as compared to the previous quarter.
The Minister further said, the bilateral trade with Russia has improved in comparison to corresponding period last year in the wake of Russia-Ukraine war. However, he said, exports of some products to other countries from India like pharmaceuticals, telecom instruments, tea, coffee, marine products are affected.
