EOU arrests four persons including College principal in BPSC paper leak case

.- cum centre superintendent Yogendra Prasad Singh and Barhara block development officer (BDO) Jai Vardhan Gupta in connection with Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) prelims test paper leak case.

The examination was cancelled after the questions went on viral on social media before the commencement of the test last Sunday. Gupta was deputed as a magistrate to oversee the BPSC Combined (Preliminary) Competitive examination at the Veer Kunwar Singh College centre. The two others arrested were lecturer- cum- examination controller Sushil Kumar Singh and Agam Kumar Sahay, lecturer – cum – an assistant centre of the same college in Ara. These four persons were sent to jail after producing them before the court of Chief Judicial Magistrate at Patna.

The additional director General of EOU Nayyar Husnain Khan told AIR the Special Investigation Team (SIT) led by SP Sushil Kumar Singh has been investigating the case from all angles.
