BCS Nat’l Conclave concludes with enthralling discussions

Pune, Sep 29:
The last day of ?the six-day annual national conclave, Bharatiya Chhatra Sansad or BCS (Indian Student Parliament)?, organized under the aegis of ??MIT School of Government (MIT-SOG)???, saw some enthralling discussions. The session saw top dignitaries guiding the students to take rightful steps which can assist in nation-building. It also focussed on how politics can give them the power to mould the future and why they should feel responsible towards society once they get into powerful positions, were the key points that were emphasised upon. Girish Gautam, Speaker of Madhya Pradesh Legislative Assembly was the Chairman of the session.
He said, “The youth is the one who must stand for equality and justice. Today, the political groups want youth to be a part of the political system since they have the power, ideas, and the approach to contribute towards the development of the nation. At the same time, it is important to prevent the youth from getting derailed from the right track. Our youngsters must stay out of any controversies, misbeliefs, and illusions.”
The session was graced by the presence of prominent dignitaries such as Adv. Jaiveer Shergill, Spokesperson, Indian National Congress and Eminent Lawyer, Supreme Court of India, Ms. Amba Prasad, Member of Legislative Assembly (INC), Barkagaon, Ramgarh, Jharkhand, Anil Kumar, Member of Legislative Assembly (BJP), Bathnaha (SC), Sitamarhi, Bihar, and Prakash B. Joshi, Founding Trustee, Patron, MAEER.
Rahul V. Karad, Managing Trustee & Executive President, MAEER’s MIT and Executive President, MIT World Peace University & Chief Initiator, MIT School of Government, reiterated on the last day of this 6-day mega event that BCS was established to give a platform to the voice of students. This is the largest apolitical platform where students can listen to the top dignitaries of the country and get a chance to interact with them.
