Remdesivir injections’ black marketing racket busted

Kawardha, May 06: At a time when corona pandemic is at its peak in the state, blackmarketing of life saving Remdesivir injections’ raises question on the alertness of administration. If sources are to be believed, staff of some of the private hospitals’ are part of this group involved in black marketing of injections and all private hospitals are now under doubt of their activities. The poor patients are not able to purchase these injections as they are sold at high prices and those who can afford are purchasing in black.
As per information received, name of a staff working in a renowned multi-specialty hospital at Bharat Mata Chowk of district headquarter has surfaced and the video has also gone viral. In this video alleged staff is confirming to make available injection for about Rs 2000.
As the video went viral district administration got active. After the matter came to fore said hospital owner Dr Vinay Bisen sacked this alleged staff to save the name of his hospital. He congratulated all those who did sting operation and added that strict action should be taken against those at fault.
