Over 156 crore two lakh doses of COVID vaccines administered in the country so far

Government has said a total of six thousand 41 cases of Omicron variant of Covid-19 have been reported so far in the country. This is an increase of over five per cent since yesterday. Union Health Ministry today said that over 156 crore two lakh doses of COVID vaccines have been administered in the country under the nationwide vaccination drive.

The Ministry said, more than 58 lakh two thousand Covid vaccine doses were administered in the last 24 hours to the beneficiaries. More than one lakh 22 thousand Covid patients have recovered during the last 24 hours and the national recovery rate stands at 94.83 per cent. The Ministry said, more than three crore 49 lakh patients have recovered from COVID-19 in the country so far.

The country reported over two lakh 68 thousand new Covid cases in the last 24 hours. Currently, India’s active caseload is over 14 lakh 17 thousand. The Ministry said, more than 70 crore seven lakh COVID-19 tests have been conducted so far.
