Youth’s role important in building ‘Nava Chhattisgarh’: Baghel

Raipur, Jul 31: Youth of state will play an important role in building ‘Nava Chhattisgarh’. Providing the best education facilities and employment opportunities to the youth is the top priority of Chhattisgarh government. We aim to provide a positive environment to the youth so that their creative energy can be channelized towards the development of the state and the country”, said Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel while virtually addressing the ‘oath-taking’ ceremony of the newly appointed office bearers of Chhattisgarh State Youth Commission from his residence office here today.
Chhattisgarh Youth Commission Chairman Jitendra Mudaliar, members Uttam Vasudev and Ajay Singh took oath of office in this program organized at Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Auditorium, capital Raipur. Sports and Youth Welfare Minister Umesh Patel presided over the program. Congratulating the newly appointed Chairman and members, he expressed hope that they would be successful in providing a positive direction to the youth power of the state.
Forest Minister Mohammad Akbar, Food Minister Amarjit Bhagat, Industries Minister Kawasi Lakhma, MLAs- Daleshwar Sahu, Bhuneshwar Baghel, Chhani Sahu, Shobharam Baghel, Rajman Benjam, Vikram Shah Mandavi, Chhattisgarh Mineral Development Corporation Chairman Girish Dewangan, Chairman of Chhattisgarh Text Book Corporation Shailesh Nitin Trivedi, Chairman of State Food and Civil Supplies Corporation Ram Gopal Agrawal, Chairman of Chhattisgarh Telangana Board Sandeep Sahu, Chairman of Chhattisgarh State Entrepreneur Co-operative Finance and Development Corporation Dhanesh Patila, Mayor of Rajnandgaon Hema Deshmukh, Director of Sports and Youth Welfare Department Shweta Shrivastava Sinha were present at the venue.
While addressing the program, Chief Minister said that it is a pleasant coincidence that today is the birth anniversary of former MLA Uday Mudaliar and on this day his son Jitendra Mudaliar is taking charge of the designation of Chairman of Chhattisgarh State Youth Commission. Chief Minister said that Late Shri Uday Mudaliar was a friendly and lively public representative. His martyrdom is an irreparable loss to all of us. His contribution in the development of Chhattisgarh can never be forgotten. While addressing the program, Chief Minister said that we have envisioned development of ‘Nava Chhattisgarh’ with the participation of youth power. It is the responsibility of all of us to nurture young talents and provide them suitable platforms. Chief Minister expressed hope that our youth with creative talent with scientific approach would make an important contribution in building the future of Chhattisgarh. Congratulating the Chairman and members of State Youth Commission, Forest Minister Shri Mohammad Akbar said that the newly-appointed officials will live up to the expectation and fulfill the responsibilities they have been entrusted with. They will ensure participation of youth in the progress of Chhattisgarh.
