Raipur, Oct 01: Chhattisgarh Yoga Commission Chairman Gyanesh Sharma inaugurated the Yoga Center at Vipra College of Arts, Commerce and Physical Education, Raipur, here. Yogacharya of Rawatpura University Captain Singh was also present on the occasion. In the first session of the Yoga Center, Dr. Ranjana Mishra, Head of the Department of Yoga, along with the guests made the students practice yoga.
Inaugurating the Vipra Yoga Center, Chief Guest Gyanesh Sharma said that the Corona period taught us that yoga should be included in life to stay healthy. The importance of yoga for the students is more. Regular yoga increases self-development and concentration along with health. By doing regular yoga practice, students can successfully achieve their set goals. Yogacharya Captain Singh, the special guest of the program, while explaining the importance of yoga said that yoga is a good source of income along with keeping the mind and body healthy. Students can get good income by promoting yoga in the country and abroad. Principal Dr. Meghesh Tiwari informed that with the inspiration of Gyanesh Sharma, a yoga center is being started in the college. Here students and teachers will get physical and mental energy by practicing yoga every day before the start of class. He told that from the year 2002 in Vipra Mahavidyalaya, PG in Yoga and Diploma is being conducted. A large number of professors and students were present on the occasion.
