Bhilai, Oct 31: A Workshop on the Topic “Preventive Vigilance and Check points on common irregularities” was organised by Vigilance Department, SAIL-Bhilai Steel Plant in association with Mines, IOC Rajhara for the collective of Iron Ore Complex, Rajhara the other day as a part of observance of Vigilance Awareness Week-2020. Adhering to the preventive guidelines of Covid-19 pandemic, workshop was organised on digital mode. Around 40 executives were present in the programme from various locations at Rajhara Mines.
The presentation on the subject was given by Satyabrat Kar, GM (Vigilance). During the presentation, Kar explained about Preventive Vigilance and various check points, which may be used by Indenters/Operating Authorities and Contract/Purchase Officers to avoid common irregularities in the process of Procurement and Contracts.
The whole programme was coordinated by Kailash Malhotra, GM (Mines).
