Workshop on new education policy concludes at Mahant College

The 7-day workshop on the new education policy organized under the joint aegis of Mahant Lakshminarayan Das Mahavidyalaya, Gandhi Chowk and Vipra Kala and Shikshan Mahavidyalaya, Raipur, concluded today.
The chief guest of the closing ceremony was MLA Raipur Rural Satyanarayan Sharma. Pt Ravishankar Shukla University Vice Chancellor Dr Sachchidanand Shukla and Rajya Yog Aayog President Gyanesh Sharma were present as special guests. Shiksha Pracharak Samiti President Ajay Tiwari, social worker Surendra Shukla and Mahant College Principal Dr Devashish Mukherjee along with Vipra College in-charge principal Dr Vivek Mishra, Gurukul Mahila Mahavidyalaya Principal Dr Sandhya Gupta, Agrasen Mahavidyalaya Principal and Rajput Pramila Gokuldas Daga Girls College Principal Dr Sangeeta Ghai were specially present.
Pt Ravi Shankar Shukla University Vice Chancellor Dr Sachchidanand Shukla said that students should feel proud of their culture. The new education policy incorporated two main points- Indian culture and the current state of education in the world, he said.
He said that classrooms will become smaller and the process of study and teaching will be done in the hi-tech system in the time to come. According to him two-way communication has been discussed in the new education policy and Practical classes are going to be kept virtual. Teachers will have to understand from this system also, he said.
The Vice-Chancellor, while discussing his contribution in preparing the program of the new education policy, explained how all the points have been included in this education policy. The Vice-Chancellor said that now all the universities will have to prepare education by coming in a multidisciplinary system. System should be prepared on education based on university research studies as well, he added. Chief guest MLA Rural Satyanarayan Sharma stressed the need to implement modern education system effectively to help students gain more knowledge and achieve success in their life.
