Workers’ trust is our capital: Rashmi Singh

Takhatpur, Aug 31: An assembly level workers’ conference of Indian National Congress (INC) was organized here in village Parsada under the guidance of Regional MLA and Parliamentary Secretary Rashmi Ashish Singh, PCC Secretary Ashish Singh and District Congress Committee President Vijay Kesharwani. Addressing the conference, Rashmi Singh said that the faith, the party workers have shown is our capital investment. In the last two and a half years, we have done many development works in the assembly area under the leadership of State Chief Bhupesh Baghel, and will continue the spree of development, she said. State Secretary Ashish Singh said that we are completing the works on priority basis, based on the suggestions received from the workers and villagers, the road map of development is being prepared. Surely in the coming time, Takhatpur Vidhan Sabha will be reflected in the State as a model of development, he said.
District Congress Committee President Vijay Kesharwani said that today the workers of the entire assembly, assembled here are directly connected with the voters, who are the backbone of the party. The program was conducted by MLA representative Dharmesh Dubey and District Farmers Congress President Sunil Shukla proposed the vote of thanks. Present in the conference were Block Congress Committee President Raju Sahu, Alderman Suresh Sonkar, Rakesh Tiwari, Amrit Vastrakar, Ramjul Sahu, Anil Dubey, Ashok Pandey, Bisahu Ram Kashyap, Omprakash and scores of party workers.

Regional MLA and Parliamentary Secretary Smt. Rashmi Ashish Singh told in her remarks that in the field of higher education, Government Girls College in Takhatpur, Government College in Sakri, ITI in Nevra, Dairy Milk Production Course, Renovation of Government JMP College, were done, wheras in the field of school education, Higher Secondary and Girls High School in Sakri, Gokulpur, Lakhasar, Khamharia High School building construction, distribution of cycles to 2128 girl students, construction of Atmanand English Medium School, construction of compound in 40 schools, toilets in 56 schools, construction of additional rooms in 35 schools were done. In the field of revenue, bringing SDM office to Takhatpur, making Sakri a new tehsil, construction of 8 new Gram Panchayats, 10-10 bedded hospitals in health sector, wellness centers in Takhatpur and Ganiyari, construction of sub-health centers in Sakri,New 108 vehicles in Sakri and Takhatpur, X-ray facility in Takhatpur, Mitanin rooms in Takhatpur, repair and renovation of various primary health centers, State’s first livelihood in Angana Ganiyari in which hundreds of women are getting employment. In the field of potable drinking water supply 2.15 milli cubic meters annually, 150 nos. tube wells in the entire assembly, solar water supply at a cost of 585 lakhs in 22 villages, water tank and pipeline expansion at a cost of 3081 lakhs in 42 villages, 4.57 crores in 80 villages. CC road construction work were approved in 80 villages at a cost of 4.57 crores in the field of road, 42.5 km of road construction in the assembly area at a cost of 7000 lakhs, 96 in Chief Minister’s Rural Road Scheme. The construction work has been done at a cost of 464 lakh in Chief Minister Rural Road Scheme.

During the workers’ conference, on the demand of the workers, State Secretary Ashish Singh sang the songs of Kishore Kumar, much to the enthusiasm of the party workers, who danced to the tunes of his songs. Echo’s of Once More-Once More was heard during the program.
