With relaxation of norms, ten get compassionate appointment

Bhilai, June 03: Due to the relaxation provided in the norms of 10% for compassionate appointment by Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel; ten of the bereaved family members of the BMC employees were able to receive the benefits of compassionate appointment. Bhilai Municipal Corporation Commissioner Rituraj Raghuvanshi handed over the appointment letters to ten of the entitled persons. Seven dependents of the deceased government servants were appointed on the post of Sanitary Supervisor while three dependents were appointed on the post of Peon. On this occasion, Commissioner wished them a bright future ahead.
Palash Vaidya, who received compassionate appointment, told that his father Late Bhauram Vaidya was working in BMC. His untimely death caused mental and financial loss to the family. The decision of the government to relax the limit of compassionate appointment from ten percent has benefited all and whose appointments were getting affected due to this norm. Palash told that he has been appointed as a sanitary supervisor. He assured to perform the duty with commitment and dedication. Atul Kumar Yadav informed that his father Late Anuj Ram Yadav was working as Assistant Grade 2. On Thursday, he has been appointed as a sanitary supervisor. Due to the decision of Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel to relax the deadline till May 31, many people have got compassionate appointments. Maya informed that her father was a helper. They had applied for compassionate appointment. Due to the decision of the Chief Minister, the application was processed very quickly and the entire family got the much needed relief.
Appointments have been given Vinay Kumar Meshram, BK Maya, Toshendra Kumar Sahu, Rajesh Kumar Dahare, Tikendra Kumar Sahu, Palash Vaidya, Atul Kumar Yadav as Sanitary Supervisors; while Roshanlal Tandon, Narayan Verma and Jyoti Masih have been given appointment on the post
of peon.
