Chhattisgarh Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) President Vishnu Deo Sai has completed the process to form his Executive Body after consulting the central leadership on the issue. Sai would be declaring his new team after he makes final discussion with former Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh who is presently undergoing treatment of Covid 19.
It is understood that attempts are being made to strike the regional as well as social balance in the Executive Body headed by Vishnu Deo Sai. All the main Divisional of BJP would get a General Secretary whereas senior leaders would be entrusted with the task of Vice President in the Organization to strike a balance. However, the decision on the appointments in Frontal Organizations would be taken next month.
Party sources stated that the social equations and structure of Executive Body has been discussed with the central leaders in presence of Organizational leaders.
With just 14 MLAs in the 90-member Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly, the BJP is battling hard to pose a challenge to the ruling Congress in Chhattisgarh. State BJP President Vishnu Deo Sai also has to win confidence of the party rank and file to launch campaign against the Congress government on key issues in near future.
To end the reported differences of opinion among top leaders including senior MLAs of the party is also a key challenge for the Chhattisgarh BJP President Vishnu Deo Sai. It is understood that few of the aggressive MLAs would be accommodated in the Executive Body who would play effective role against the Congress.
However, the former Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh would again dominate the process of formation of new Executive Body, which would be declared after his final opinion once he recovers from the infectious disease.
