Vigilance Awareness Week-2021 inaugurated

Kirandul, Oct 27: As per instructions from the Central Vigilance Commission, Awareness Week -2021 (VAW-2021) is being organised on the subject of ‘Independent India @75: Self Reliance with Integrity’ at its B.I.O.M Kirandul Complex project from Oct 26 to Nov 1, 2021.
Inaugurating the programme, Vigilance Officer informed that the Commission is following this tradition as a mission from 1999. It’s objective was to pass on the message to masses that it is by adopting honesty in one’s public life that corruption can be removed.
On this occasion GM (Production) Vinay Kumar administered pledge to all the officers and employees in administrative building about commitment towards work with dedication and honesty. On this occasion the message by the President of India Ramnath Kovind on occasion of VAW-2021 was read out by GM (Electricity) Animesh Bandhopadhyay.
The message by the Vice-President of India M Venkaih Naidu was read by DGM (Safety & Service) P Prasad and the message by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi was read by DGM (Personnel) BK Madhav. The message by the Central Vigilance Commissioner Suresh N Patel was read by KD Devgam (DGM) (Vigilance).
In the pledge taking ceremony the heads of all the departments, officers and employees, representatives of labour union Rajesh Sandhu, K Saji, PL Sahu were present.
In the end the Vigilance officer urged all the officers and employees to take part in large number in variety of competitions to be organised during this Vigilance Awareness Week.
