VHP-Bajrang Dal perform ‘Shastra Pujan’, take out ‘Shobha Yatra’ on Vijayadashami

Bhilai, Oct 16: On the occasion of the festival of Vijayadashmi, the Vishwa Hindu Parishad- Bajrang Dal under the leadership of Ravi Nigam, District Coordinator, performed the “Shastra Pujan” took out a grand Shobha Yatra (procession) in the morning. The Shastra pujan was performed at “Baba Bhootnath Mandir” Sanjay Nagar, Supela. After the worship of weapons, ‘Sashastra Shobha Yatra’ was organized in the presence of hundreds of activists amidst devotional music which culminated in the temple located at Gada Chowk.
District coordinator Ravi Nigam informed that on the occasion of “Dussehra”, the great festival of “victory of good over evil”, weapons are worshiped every year with great enthusiasm in the entire Hindu community. In keeping with this tradition, this grand weapon worship programme was organized by Bajrang Dal Bhilai. All the weapons were kept respectfully, worshipped and aarti was done by the provincial coordinator Ratan Yadav and social worker Shesh Narayan Singh. The members were briefed about the importance of “weapons and scriptures”. Thereafter, a grand procession was taken out with a display of the worshipped weapons. Ratan Yadav, Shesh Narayan Singh, Matrishakti Durga Vahini Jyoti Sharma, district coordinator Ravi Nigam, Sonu Singh, Dinesh Singh, Hrithik Soni, Monu Singh, district co-minister Kamal Sao, District co-convenor Ravi Bharti, Tata Shobha, Uma Sonkar, Mansingh Singh, Apoorva Singh, Raghuveer Sahu, Anil Bahra, Vikram Dhruv, Khabbu Panda, Pintu, Ajay Sen, Arun Sharma, Sanjay Thakur, Siddharth Sharma, Ballu Bhatt, Sunil Gupta, Ravi Sharma, Amit Chaudhary, Anoop, Anil Sahu, Diwakar etc. hundreds of workers were present.
