‘Valour and sacrifice of soldiers remembered’

Rajanandgaon, Dec 08: At District Soldier Welfare Office Rajanandgaon, Armed Forces Flag Day was observed on Tuesday. In the programme 38 CG NCC Battalion CO Lt Cornel Vivek Sharma, DPS Principal Mrs Urmila Dixit, former soldiers and their family members were present.
The guests offered silent tributes to martyrs. On this occasion Captain Pokhrial threw light on the importance on Flag Day. Principal Mrs Dixit remembered the dedication and valour of soldiers.
Soldier Welfare Amouunt given
In course of the programme, as part of welfare scheme for former soldiers amount received from the state government was allocated. The contribution was given for the marriage of soldier’s daughter.
