UP Assembly Election: Filing nominations for 4th Phase begins, total 14 nominations filed on first day

In Uttar Pradesh, a total of 623 candidates have been left in fray for the First Phase of the Assembly elections. 58 constituencies spread across 11 districts of Western UP will go to polls in this phase on 10th of February.

The process of filing nominations for the Fourth Phase began yesterday. A total of 14 nominations were filed on the first day. The last date of filing nominations for this phase is 3rd of February. Scrutiny will be held on 4th February and the last date of withdrawal of the candidature is 7th of February.

The filing nominations for the Second Phase will end today. Nomination process for the Third Phase of polling on 20th of February is also underway.
