Two Maoists arrested with explosives

Konta, Aug 30: In Sukma district, Sundarraj P. Inspector General of Police, Bastar Range Jagdalpur, Yogyan Singh, Deputy Inspector General CRPF (Operations Sukma Range) and Sunil Sharma, Superintendent of Police Sukma, Soumitra Roy Commandant 201 Corps Cobra is spearheading a campaign for the elimination of Naxals . Under the campaign, on 28.08.2021 from police station Chintalnar to Cobra 2IC, under the leadership of Hempush Sharma, DC. Nitin Bagade and DC Ajay Kumar’s Humrah 201 Vahini Cobra’s Force and District Force’s Joint Force Area Domination / Naxalites had left for village Peddabodkel and surrounding area to nab the accused and that during the campaign, 02 suspicious persons were detected in the forest area of village Peddabodkel carrying bags in their hands. Both of them tried to hide after seeing the police party, but were caught by the police party by siege, on interrogation their names respectively 01. Madvi Pozza father Madvi Masa age 45 years caste Muria, 02. Batta Vinod father Batta Ramannaya Age 21 years, caste Muria, both being resident of Sakinan village Peddabodkel, Thana Chintalnar district Sukmal and working in banned Maoist organization as Madvi Pozza, DAKMS vice-president and committee member and Batta Vinod militia member.
From their possession 04 Nos Electric Detonator, 03 Meter Cordex Wire, 10 Meter Electric Wire, 05 Nos Pencil Cell and 03 Nos Electric Detonator, 04 Meter Cordex Wire, 15 Meter from Naxal literature and Batta Vinod, after searching the arrested accused on the spot Electric wire, 07 nos. pencil cell and Naxal literature and other daily useful material were recovered, necessary documents were sought in relation to the said persons keeping explosive material with them. Both the accused and the recovered material were brought to the police station for not presenting any valid documents. Both the Naxalite accused were duly arrested on 28.08.2021 and presented before Court Sukma on 29.08.2021 and were sent to jail in judicial remand.
