Raipur: Two persons have been arrested under Arms Act from separate areas of Tikrapara police station area on Wednesday. The first one, identified as Sheikh Waaris of Santoshi Nagar, was arrested from near Santoshi Nagar Chowk after he was nabbed red-handed terrorising the locals armed with a big sharp-edged weapon. He was later booked under Section 25, 27 of Arms Act.
The next one, identified as Mohammad Gani of Santoshi Nagar near Gausia Masjid, was arrested from near Santoshi Nagar overbridge after he was nabbed possessing a knife. He was later booked under Section 25 of Arms Act.
