Two arrested for theft at mobile shop

Bhilai, Oct 17: Police have arrested two ruffians on charges of committing theft at a mobile store in Jeora-Sirsa Chowki area. Considering the rising cases of thefts and burglaries, police was maintaining vigil on the activities of suspects and criminal record holders.
The network of informers was also activated for the purpose. In this sequel, police received a tip off regarding two suspects who were trying to sell mobile phones in Kachandur area. Police team immediately swung into action and the suspects were taken in custody.
During interrogation, they confessed to have committed theft at Himanshu Mobile Shop. The accused were identified as Ukesh yadav and Busen Nishad. 13 nos mobile phones, speaker, headphone etc total worth Rs 40000 was recovered from their possession.
The accused have been booked under the provisions mentioned in section 457, 380 of IPC. Sub Inspector Pramod Srivastava, ASI Ramchandra Kanwar, Constable Jitendra Singh, Waseem Khan, Roshan Bhuwal and Naresh Yadav played vital role in arresting the accused.
