Traffic Police creates green corridor for ambulance

Patient shifted from Bhilai to Raipur in 35 minutes

Bhilai, May 25: On Saturday, District Traffic Police created a green corridor on National Highway to ensure that the ambulance reaches its destination as soon as possible. The ambulance carrying a patient of brain hemorrhage travelled from Bhilai to Raipur in just 35 minutes in this Green Channel.
ASP (Traffic) Balram Hirwani informed that 45-year-old Varun Mishra of Hudco Sector was admitted at Sparsh Hospital in Supela after he suffered brain hemorrhage. The doctors consulted the kin of the patient to take him to Ramkrishna Care Hospital in Raipur for advanced tertiary care. The kin approached Traffic Police and sought help for speedy transportation of the patient in the ambulance.
The Traffic Police responded immediately and a green corridor was created by traffic police team under the leadership of DSP (Traffic) Gurjeet Singh. The ambulance got hassle – free green channel on national highway and it reached the hospital situated in Raipur within 35 minutes.
Inspector Rakesh Bhoi (Traffic I/c Supela) and Highway Patrolling # 2 provided piloting service to the ambulance. Traffic Police teams were positioned at all the squares on the entire route. SI Prakash Singh was positioned at Chandra Mourya Square; ASI JS Bhadauria at Power House Square; ASI Parvasi Yadav at Khursipar Square; ASI Sewa Ram Kalame at Dabrapara Triangle; ASI Dilip Singh at Janata School cutting in Old Bhilai; Inspector Surendra Srivastava at Sirsa Gate; SI Ashok Dwivedi at Charoad Hanuman Temple; Highway Patrolling # 3 at Royal Khalsa Dhaba; SI Ram Sahay Rajput at Kumhari Square and Highway Patrolling # 4 was positioned at Kumhari Toll Plaza.
