Total lockdown from today, morning & evening walks prohibited

Bhilai, Sep 23: The total lockdown would come into effect from September 24 till September 30 since the district has been declared as a containment zone. During this period morning and evening walks will also remain prohibited. Additional Collector and Risali Commissioner Prakash Kumar Surve reached the market and residential area to inform the people about the lockdown.
During visit to Ruabandha Market the Additional Collector queried about the prices of the vegetables from the traders.
On the other hand, a team led by Nodal Officer Ramakant Sahu remained active throughout the day and reviewed cleanliness of the entire area, while informing the traders and common people about the complete lockdown in the market area. During this time, the nodal officer inspected the Haat markets of Risali Corporation area and warned the roadside vegetable and fruit vendors to sell items till 10:00 hrs.
Ramakant Sahu informed that separate teams have been constituted for different areas to see to it that the lockdown rules are followed properly. Each team has 3-4 members. For Dundera, Puraina, Joratrai is under the supervision of Deputy Engineer Akhilesh Gupta, Risali and Ruabandha area are under the supervision of Deputy Commissioner Gopal Sinha, while Maroda Tank, Station Maroda and Newai are under the supervision of Anil Meshram. Strict action will be taken against the violators of rules.
Control room has been set up at the Risali office for prevention of Covid-19 infection. The responsibility of this has been given to sanitation supervisor Amit Chandrakar (8103377184) and Fitter Rohit Verma (7869230328).
