Toolkit controversy: BJPians court arrest

Bhilai, May 24: On Monday, BJP workers staged demonstrations at various police stations in the district and courted arrest. They were protesting against the state government and the police department for lodging FIRs against BJP National Spokesperson Dr Sambit Patra and BJP National Vice President Dr Raman Singh in the alleged Toolkit case. Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha activists reached Smriti Nagar Chowki and staged demonstration.
Later they courted arrest at this police chowki. BJYM leader Ranjeet Singh said that the Congress conspiracies of defaming the Prime Minister as well as the nation are getting repeatedly exposed. On the other hand, the Congress ruled states are misusing the police department for lodging baseless FIRs against the BJP leaders. Ranjeet Thakur, Nitesh Mishra, Rahul Bhosle and Ajay Pandey courted arrest. Rishi Bhasin, Gaurav Sharma, Rohan Singh, Kavarpal Singh, Shekhar Shah, Akash Rajput and Mandeep Singh were present.
