Three schemes of Ch’garh Govtt receives appreciation at national level

Raipur, Dec 07: Three major schemes of state government including Bultu Ke Bol—Bluetooth-based e-education solution for offline education, Digipay Sakhi, and Godhan Nyay Yojana have been appraised at the national level. The success stories of these three have been published in a book on ‘75 Digital Transformation Stories’ from across India released by the Government of India on the occasion of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav.
Chief Executive Officer of Chhattisgarh Infotech Promotion Society (CHiPS), Sameer Vishnoi informed that the booklet published by the Government of India comprises of the innovative innovations made under Digital India in all the states of the country for the Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav, an initiative to celebrate and commemorate 75 years of progressive India. Joint Chief Executive Officer of CHiPS and Neelesh Kumar Soni of SeMT team were among the IT experts from across the country included in the publication board of the booklet.
Sameer Vishnoi informed that Godhan Nyay Yojana has been launched by the state government on the initiative of Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel to boost the income of cattle rearers and to promote the use of organic manure. Besides many income-oriented activities including the purchase of cow dung and manufacture of vermicompost are being operated under the scheme. CHiPS has developed a mobile application and website for the smooth operation of the scheme. Beneficiaries selling cow dung and women Self-Help Groups have been connected through the app. Along with this, arrangements have also been made in the app to make information regarding the manufacturing of vermicompost from cow dung and its sale. Now, the beneficiaries are conveniently receiving their payments directly into their bank accounts. The scheme is proving to be beneficial for the rural masses of the state. Under the scheme, high-quality vermicompost and super compost manure is being made available at the village level at a minimal price and the fertility of the soil is increasing with the use of organic manure.
In a bid to provide doorstep banking services and cash payments to people living in rural and far-flung areas of Chhattisgarh, Nagar Sangwari program is being implemented in every village under the Common Service Center project. As a part of this initiative, cash payment is being made to the beneficiaries of various schemes including social security scheme and old age pension. This has also increased employment opportunities at village level. Similarly, the success story of Mrs. Suniti Sahu, a housewife hailing from a small village in Balod district has been mentioned in this booklet.
Meanwhile, the Government of Chhattisgarh is committed to ensure the implementation of modern innovations at the grassroots level. For this, Bluetooth-based e-education solution “Bultu Ke Bol” has been started by the School Education Department to ensure the availability of offline education material to the students of the state especially ones living in areas with limited or no internet connectivity. Under this, students of classes I to VIII have been included.
