Three along with main accused driver arrested

Gaurela, Pendra, Marwahi (GPM), Dec 16: In theft incident of Rs 5 lakh from the car on return to Bilaspur at Gourela, the police got success and arrested the driver Deep Sahu of trader Naveen Tharani. He initially was found speaking lie and later accepted his crime.
Citing about the plan, accused driver Deep Sahu informed that about 5-6 days back, he alongwith his friends Ravi Sahu and Manish Sahu disclosed that his owner Naveen Tharani goes to Anoopur for recovery every Sunday and generally keeps Rs 5-10 lakhs with him. After this all three chalked out a plan and Deep Sahu informed his friends that on leaving Anooppur, he will informed them over telephone. Both his friends reached Gourela on time and when the driver brought his owner at the petrol pump in Gourela and his owner going out for toilet, he handed over the bag to his two friends and ask them to leave. When his owner returned and did not return, driver expressed his unknowingness about the lifting and expressed his sympathy.
Later all three accused shared the amount meeting near Bilaspur- Mahamand-Raigarh by-pass and Manish and Ravi threw the bag in-between Kendra to Jamdamdi road.
The Police on getting hint about location, recovered cash of Rs 2.40 lakh from Deep Sahu; Rs 1.30 lakh from Ravi and Rs 1.10 from Manish along with the mobile phone worth Rs 20000 purchased totalling Rs 4.80 lakhs which was stolen from the owner. All three accused were sent to judicial remand.
It is taking prompt action the police managed to arrest the accused. In this action, Inspector Yuvraj Tiwari, SI Kamlesh Shende, ASI Hemant Aditya, head constable Satya Bishen, constable Ravi Tripathi, Ramkrishna, Rajesh Sharma played important role.
