Tekam reviews schemes run in the district

Instructions given to repair the road damaged in the rain to the concerned department

Raipur, Jul 14: School Education Minister Dr. Premsai Singh Tekam reviewed the progress of the work of various departments in the district in the presence of Collector Dr. Gaurav Kumar Singh, Superintendent of Police Mrs. Bhavna Gupta, District Panchayat CEO Mr. Rahul Dev in the Collectorate meeting room.
He discussed point wise of all the departments in the review meeting and instructed to repair the road damaged due to rain so that the common citizens do not face any problem in traffic. School Education Minister also supplied compassionate appointment letters to Samar Kant Baghel and Ashish Kumar Nair, the relatives of the Education Department who died of corona. He also inquired about the status of online class, mohalla class and instructed to do continuous monitoring and directed to make caste, residence, income certificate in time period. The School Education Minister inquired about the Rajiv Gandhi Nyay Yojana and instructed to bring progress in the work as per the intention of the government. He has asked to increase the income in the panchayat and encourage for pond and tree plantation. After taking information about the farmers who produce other crops instead of paddy, he asked them to motivate the crop production based on the interest of the farmer. The Minister took information about the distribution of fertilizers and seeds from the District Marketing Officer and directed to distribute DAP, Urea on time.
He instructed to take action against black marketers and immediately after lifting the seeds and distributing the seeds through local public representatives.
School Education Minister Dr. Premsai Singh Tekam, after taking information about distribution of forest rights lease, gave proper assessment of eligible, ineligible person and instructed to distribute personal and community lease on time. He inquired about the allocation of ration shops in rural and urban areas and instructed to solve the problems by taking appropriate action.
The School Education Minister inquired about the progress of the works being carried out under MNREGA and instructed to complete the work on time as per the target and directed to pay the pending payments at the earliest.
In view of the possibilities of third wave of corona from the health department, he instructed the CMHO to complete the preparations.
He reviewed Prime Minister’s Housing Scheme, Livelihood Health and Family Welfare Department, Women and Child Development Department, Labor Department, Food Civil Supplies and Consumer Protection Department, Forest Department, Public Works Department, Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana, Rural Engineering Services, Industries Department, Fisheries Department, Also reviewed the works of Excise Department, District Planning and Statistics, E-Governance Society and Sub Registrar Cooperative Societies and directed to bring progress in the work. Collector Dr. Gaurav Kumar Singh, School Education Minister Dr. Premsay Singh Tekam instructed that work will be done for the development of the district by following the instructions.
