
Bhilai, Sep 26: Chhattisgarh Home Minister Tamradhwaj Sahu chaired the Public Manifesto Review meeting held in Rajasthan on Friday. Sahu is the Chairman of All India Congress Committee’s manifesto implementation committee. He reached Rajasthan on Friday morning in a charter plane. The meeting was held at Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot’s residence. During the meeting, Gehlot detailed about the promises which have been fulfilled and the progress on remaining subjects. Tamradhwaj Sahu appreciated the Gehlot government’s efforts and suggested a regular review of the projects promised in the manifesto. Rajasthan PCC Chief Govind Singh Dotasra, MP Punjab Dr Amar Singh and state ministers were present in the meeting.
The purpose of the meeting was to ensure fulfilment of all the promises made in the public manifesto of Congress declared in the year 2018 Assembly Elections. As per the orders of Congress President Sonia_Gandhi and expectations of former President Rahul Gandhi, the committee reiterated the part’s commitment of cent percent implementation of the promises made in the manifesto in all the Congress ruled states.
In the meeting, detailed discussions were held on the promises made in the manifesto, the benefits provided to the people, extent of promises fulfilled; and proceedings on the remaining promises. Discussion was held on several other people oriented schemes, projects and works introduced by Rajasthan Government. The report of this important meeting will be submitted to the central leadership.
In this one-day Rajasthan tour, Home Minister Sahu was accompanied by his Special Secretary Kailash Verma, CG PCC State General Secretary Arun Singh Sisodia, State Secretary Irfan Khan and District General Secretary Atulchand Sahu. They too attended the meeting and got the opportunity to meet the kind and simple Chief Minister of Rajasthan.
