Students of the district shine in state board exams

Korba, May 10: Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education (CGBSE) declared the results for 10th and 12th board exams here on Friday. The news about this declaration had reached the students on Thursday and they were all eagerly waiting for their results. The results were uploaded on the website at around 1pm and four students from the district secured their positions in the merit list. While Ritu Kumari achieved fifth position in 12th board exam of CGBSE, Hema Sahu stood third in the all-state ranking of 10th board. Rajendra Prasad and Avinash Chandel secured tenth position in 10th board exams.
‘Rajendra studied by night and gained
success’
Belonging to a small village near Madwarani, Rajendra Prasad is a student of Eklavya Higher Secondary School, Chhurikala. Rajendra has achieved 10th position in state board merit list for 10th standard by scoring 96.67% marks. Belonging to an agricultural family, he used to work on fields with his father, Subhasundar Kanwar, and studied in the night hours to achieve good marks. This hard work and labour paid off for him and now he aspires to become a Collector by appearing UPSC exams in the near future.

‘I will like to become an IAS officer: Ritu’
Student of Saraswati Higher Secondary School, CSEB, Ritu said that hard work is the key to success. She gave the credit of her success to her parents and teachers. The daughter of a milkman, she lives at Gokul Nagar, Kharmora and studies hard for achieving her goal. Her proud father, Pappu Singh said that his daughter has always been sincere towards her studies. At the same time, she helps her mother in the household works and with dairy work. Ritu has secured 95.4% marks in the exams.
