STTP organized at CIP sponsored by AICTE

Raipur, Mar 19: Recently a Short Term Training Programme (STTP) on the theme “Future trends in research methodology for drug discovery & development” was organized at Columbia Institute of Pharmacy, which was sponsored by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi.
Short Term Training Program (STTP) proposes to demeanor faculty training all the way through pecuniary support from AICTE to facilitate the faculty members in the turf of technical education to contemplate and discover techniques that can assist and prepare student’s active and successful participants in a knowledge society & this shall provide a platform to express and exchange the work done by nationwide faculty, experts in research methodology for drug discovery & development. The Programme was inaugurated virtually by Prof. Swarnlata Saraf, Director, University Institute of Pharmacy, Pt. Ravishankar Shukla University, Raipur, Chhattisgarh. Different sessions of five day long STTP was addressed by the eminent speakers from India as well abroad this includes Prof. S.P. Vyas, Professor (Retd.), UGC-MHRD BSR fellow, Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Dr. Harisingh Gour University Sagar, Dr. Sanjay Kumar Jain, Professor & Head, Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Dr. H. S. Gour University, Sagar, Dr. Vimal Kumar, Dean, School of Pharmacy, ITM (SLS) Baroda University, , Dr. Noolvi Malleshappa, Professor & Principal Shree Dhanvatary Pharmacy College, Kim, Gujarat, Dr. Kamlesh Dashora, Head of Department, Institute of Pharmacy, Vikram University, Ujjain On the penultimate day, Dr. Ashish Baldi, Professor, Maharaja Ranjit Singh Punjab Technical University, Bathinda, Punjab, Dr. Nalini Shashtri, Consultant Statistical application for drug delivery Dr. Manju Singh, Assistant Professor, University Institute of Pharmacy, Pt Ravishankar Shukla University,and Dr. Amber Vyas, Assistant Professor, University Institute of Pharmacy, Pt Ravishankar Shukla University etc. Dr. Ravindra Kumar Pandey, Professor, Columbia Institute of Pharmacy, Raipur gave practical demonstration about the working of Super Critical Fluid Extraction Unit This information has been provided by Dr. Shiv Shankar Shukla, Professor, Columbia Institute of Pharmacy, Raipur who was also the Co-coordinator of this STTP. At the end an on-line examination was conducted and the participants were awarded E- Certificates.
