Alleges parents of students

Dongargarh, Oct 15:
The school management of St Peter Convent School (SPCS) is charging Rs 350 as additional school fee exam from students of Class 12th and Rs 100 from students of Class 10th. The students from all streams of Class 12th in place of Rs 2450 as fees are charging Rs 2800 and that students of Class 10th in place of Rs 1800 are being charged Rs 1900. But in other CBSE recognised schools in city the fees as fixed by CSEB is being charged.
Students deprived of right to select additional subject:
As per information in this regard the students of Class 12th have been deprived of selecting additional subject. The School management has selected additional subject as per its convenience. It is learnt that many a student in place of computers wanted to opt for Hindi, but for this the School is not prepared.
No action even after 8 months of investigation report:
In this case of highhandedness on part of the School Management and head of St. Peter Convent School, the DEO had also formed a committee to investigate into gross irregularities and got it investigated earlier. But the irony of the fact that is even after 8 months of submission of report by the Committee no action has been taken, the District Education department has not taken any action against the School. The inquiry officers submitted its report along with its peers about 8 months back in DEO’s office. As per information in this regard in the investigations done, the education system of the School was found against the working system and it is for this reason that highhandedness on part of School management is not coming to an end.

What principal says
“The School is running as per CBSE guidelines and fees is also being charged as per the CBSE pattern.”
