Officials not clearly told about arrangements to check spread of disease

Raipur, Mar 30: Lok Sabha member from Raipur Sunil Soni on Tuesday held the Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel responsible for increase in Covid 19 cases in Chhattisgarh.
Talking to media persons here, Raipur Parliamentarian Soni said that meeting taken by the State Cabinet under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel over the corona review recently was just a formality as the officers have not been cleared told about the arrangements they need to make preventive measures whereas the Health Minister TS Singhdeo appears to be without any power or authority which is very unfortunate in the current scenario.
He alleged that the state government has not even able to utilize the 230 Ventilator provided by Central Government as administration has failed to make essential arrangements at the Government Hospitals. While the responsibility of state government is ensuring maximum facilities for the people, the state government has failed to take up responsibility. He further added that Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel is himself busy with political campaigning in election-bound Assam whereas Health Minister has failed to ensure his existence in administration.
Instead of expecting too much from the state government, the people should themselves get ready for their own safety with precautionary measures and also get vaccine for protection from the Covid 19, he added.
