Soil of Ch’garh has immense talent: Rashmi Singh

Takathpur, Nov 22: There is no dearth of multi-faceted talent in state of Chhattisgarh and soil of state gives aura of it’s rich art & culture. The nine-day long ‘Rasleela’ on Lord Shri Krishna and the type of presentation given by local artists is at par with any other big city artists, says regional MLA and Parliamentary Secretary Rashmi Ashish Singh while speaking at the presentation of prizes, citation certificates to the artists at the conclusion of this ‘Rasleela’ in Gram Belpan here on Sunday.
Speaking on the occasion Singh said that it is different an issue that the talent of some artist is limited to just ‘mandlis’ and samitis and there are many from the region who have made it to big and small screen as well.
A wonderful presentation of Lord Shri Krishna ‘Rasleela’ was made by the local artists in ‘Narmada Dhaam’ of Takathpur area viz. Belpan. On this occasion Congress district secretary Ashish Singh Thakur presented his singing and instrumental talent. District Panchayat ‘Sabhapati’ – Jitendra Pandey said that felicitation and motivation of local folk artists is true respect to theri talent.
The guests on this occasion presented prizes and citation certificates to regional and folk artists and said that the state government has launched many schemes for promotion of talent of regional artists and of which all the folk artists should take full advantage.
The entire programme was conducted by Gariba Yadav and vote of thanks was proposed by BR Kashyap. On this occasion Hemant Kashyap,KK Sahu, Dhananjay Singh, Jalesh Sahu, Manharan Das, Punni Yadav, Ganpat and other villagers from nearby areas were present in large number.
