Senior citizens show enthusiasm for getting COVID vaccine

Bhilai, Mar 01: There was a lot of enthusiasm among the Senior Citizens to get COVID vaccine on Monday, the very first day when vaccination has been opened for the elderly. They were seen reaching at Vaccination Centers marked by District Administration.
Under the Bhilai Municipal limits Primary Health Center in Kohka, Sparsh Hospital have been selected for COVID vaccination. The corporation administration had already given information to senior citizen about getting vaccinated in Kohka and Sparsh Hospital a day ahead, so that they do not face problems for vaccination.
100 people had been vaccinated till noon in Kohaka Primary Health Center and 74 people in Sparsh Hospital. Senior citizens are voluntarily reaching vaccination center to get vaccinated. Identification card is required to get vaccinated, on the basis of which online registration is done.
According to the protocol after being vaccinated, they are being kept in observation for a while. On the instructions of Commissioner Rituraj Raghuvanshi, Deputy Commissioner Ashok Dwivedi on Monday inspected the Corona Vaccination Center and gave necessary instructions.
During the inspection, the Zone Commissioner, Zone No 1 Sunil Aghari, Assistant Engineer Sunil Dubey, Health Officer Dharmendra Mishra and Assistant Health Officer Javed Ali, Deputy Engineers Arvind Sharma, ANM Rashmi Rai, Hemanti Yadav, CPM Tushar Verma, R Murthy, Tukeshwar and Jaya Pandey were present.
