Seminar on anti-doping and sports science held

NH Goel World School, Raipur organized a state level seminar under the aegis of PEFI. Under which the talent search for physical education teachers, sports experts, as well as a state level seminar on anti-doping and sports science was held on Friday. Beside Chhattisgarh the other states also took part in the seminar. It was held both offline and online. The seminar started by lighting the lamp. Chief guest of the program Dr.Piyush Jain, National Secretary Physical Education Foundation of India and special guest Dr. Rajiv Chaudhary, Prof. Physical Education Pandit Ravishankar Shukla Vishwavidyalaya, Raipur, were whole heartedly welcomed by the Director Administration SK Tomar and Vice Principal AvinashPandey.The programme was inaugurated with a welcome speech . Later, Dr.Piyush Jain gave detailed information about PEFI. While addressing all the sports teachers, Piyush Jain talked about the hard work and sincerity required from day one of training to win medals. Along with this, he also enlightened the participants about the funds provided by the government for various sports. He also added that people must be aware about it and should utilise it wisely.

After that, Dr. Rajeev Chaudhary gave information about different dimensions of training in simple words. He stressed upon daily exercises to keep oneself fit and healthy. After this, the program of anti-doping started which was kept online. The live session was taken by Dr.Malagir , MBBS, MD Pharmacologist , Bangalore.

He explained how India is in the second position in terms of anti-doping and thanked the players, coaches and the Government of India for their strong stand regarding this matter.
